ABOUT ME
I began life as a science nerd. I loved nature and my childhood heroes were people like Jacques Cousteau and Jane Goodall. I also love music and sports. I was a middle school science teacher and soon became a college professor. I teach education courses to pre-service teachers. I am a professor at Virginia Wesleyan University in Va. Beach, VA, where I went to college and was captain of the softball team! I was thrilled to come back to my scholarly home, and now I am the advisor for Freshman Softball players. It's great to be at VWU!
My hobbies include playing guitar and collecting musical instruments. I also love the outdoors and sports.
